12F MPO Standard Connector Ribbon Fiber Boot SM 3.0mm Round Cables

 

This kind of MPO connector can provide 24 times the density of standard connectors, offering significant space and cost savings. MPO connector utilize precision molded MT ferrules, with metal guide pins and precise housing dimensions to ensure fiber alignment when mating. The MPO can be mass terminated in combinations of 4, 8, or 12 fiber ribbon cables. MTP and MPO connectors feature male and female connector design. Male connectors have two guide pins and female connectors do not. Both connector types need an adapter to mate a pair of male and female connectors. Because MTP and MPO connectors are trying to align so many fibers at once, their coupling loss are typically bigger than single fiber connectors.
